Overview
Small, well-judged treatments can soften the lines that come with expression and time, and improve uneven skin tone — without surgery. The aim is to look rested and like yourself.
Botox (botulinum toxin) relaxes the muscles that create lines on the forehead, between the brows and around the eyes. Pigmentation treatments address dark patches and uneven tone once their cause is understood.
This may be relevant if…
- Forehead lines, frown lines or crow’s feet
- Dark patches, sun damage or uneven skin tone
- Wanting a refreshed look without surgery
At your consultation
- Looking at facial movement, skin quality and the lines that concern you
- Identifying the cause of pigmentation, such as melasma or sun damage, before choosing treatment
- Discussing medical history, pregnancy and breastfeeding, which may affect suitability
How it is done
Botox is given through a few small injections; the effect develops over the following days and is temporary, so treatment is repeated when you choose.
Pigmentation treatment is planned for your skin and may combine in-clinic procedures with a daily skincare and sun-protection routine.
Risks, recovery & limits
- Botox can cause temporary bruising, headache or, uncommonly, temporary drooping of the brow or eyelid.
- Pigmentation can return without consistent sun protection; some conditions need ongoing care.
Other options
- Skincare and daily sun protection
- Choosing not to have treatment
